style.com: style file, eye do
Just when you thought you were too old for bar crawls, Laura Mercier wants to add one more stop to your night out—the first stop, preferably, at the fully stocked and staffed Lash Bar at the Laura Mercier counter at Henri Bendel. Starting this week, lash experts (lash-perts?) will be on hand to apply the brand’s Faux Lashes, which stay put with black glue that handily doubles as eyeliner. For varying degrees of Edie, lashes come in full, center, and corner varieties. According to the experts, putting them on yourself is a cinch, but your Style.com correspondent was much happier to have the sticky work done for her. Application is free with a lash purchase ($18); it’s $15 to apply lashes provided by the customer, and $25 for a full lash lesson and application. Now if only they’d make house calls.
